KCMPA is committed to providing meaningful value at an affordable cost. Membership dues support the programs, partnerships, and resources that help independent practices reduce administrative burdens, access cost-saving opportunities, and remain competitive in today's healthcare environment.

Our goal is to deliver benefits that far exceed the cost of membership.


One-Time Membership Fee

A one-time membership fee is assessed when a practice joins KCMPA.

Membership Category

Primary Care Physicians   

$100 per physician

Specialist Physicians

$250 per physician

Allied Provider Practices

$500 per practice

2026 Membership Special

The KCMPA Board of Directors has waived all one-time membership fees for practices joining during 2026.

This means eligible practices can join KCMPA without paying an initial membership fee.

Monthly dues are based on provider type.

*Part-time physician membership does not include eligibility for KCMPA-sponsored employee benefits and assumes the physician maintains their own medical malpractice coverage.


Allied Provider Dues

To ensure fairness across a diverse group of healthcare professionals, dues for Allied Provider members are based on professional designation.

Doctoral-Level Allied Providers – $60/month

This category includes providers who hold a doctoral-level degree and practice independently within their profession. Examples include:

  • Dentists (DDS, DMD)
  • Orthodontists
  • Oral surgeons
  • Chiropractors (DC)
  • Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT)
  • Doctors of Occupational Therapy (OTD)
  • Audiologists (AuD)
  • Acupuncturists (DAc or equivalent doctoral degree)
  • Psychologists (PhD or PsyD)
  • Other doctoral-level healthcare professionals

Licensed Allied Providers – $35/month

This category includes licensed healthcare professionals practicing at the top of their licensure who do not hold a doctoral-level degree. Examples include:

  • Physician Assistants (PA)
  • Nurse Practitioners (NP)
  • Physical Therapists (PT)
  • Occupational Therapists (OT)
  • Mental Health Therapists
  • Behavioral Health Therapists
  • Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC)
  • Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
  • Massage Therapists
  • Medical Aestheticians
  • Athletic Trainers
  • Registered Dietitians
  • Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Other licensed allied healthcare professionals
